Train with Wild things horsemanship
About Me
My Experience, My Passion, and Finding The Right Fit For You
The horse world is full of elite athletes and brilliant horsemen and women, you want the best trainer in your corner and teaching you the full knowledge and skill base necessary to reach your goals and continue past them. When looking to compete, fine tune skills, learn natural horsemanship, master the basics or any other equine related activity, choosing a trainer can be difficult. Finding a trainer you are comfortable and confident in, that you know will work with you and support you through reaching your personal riding and horse goals is your first step in achieving the horsemanship you hope for.
Now with all that said I want to share a little about me. I have worked with many amazing people and horses for the past 10+ years gaining valuable knowledge and skills among a large variety of disciplines. 3 years during the beginning of my horsemanship journey were spent working with at risk youth and children facing challenges in their life both within and outside a non-profit equine foundation. My time around and working with the foundation helped build my foundation for therapeutic riding and equine therapy, while gaining a deep knowledge of the principles, purpose, and practice of equine related therapies. During that same time and in the years fallowing I spent over 2,000 hours learning beside and from reputable and impressive trainers, well educated farriers, veterinarians, and skilled horsemen and women. Using all the knowledge and skills gained through years of my continued education and practice I began professionally teaching as a riding instructor for beginner and intermediate both Western and English disciplines before incorporating starting colts, gentling and starting mustangs, as well as fine tuning, refreshing, and working through challenges as a Trainer utilizing natural horsemanship practice. In the years leading up to the start of Wild Things Horsemanship I partnered with Foothills ranch in Mayer Arizona as their Trainer, Riding instructor, and ranch manager and was blessed with the opportunity to train and work with hundreds of riders and horses being a part in creating the next generation of well rounded horses , and horsemen and women. It is my passion to pass my knowledge on to others and help foster an amazing team between horse and rider, I want everyone to have a full understanding of what, why, when, and how as it comes in everything horsemanship related. If you would like to improve your skills or are starting from the beginning it is my goal to help you achieve your riding dreams, If you have a young horse you want started the right way, have a horse needing challenging behaviors or bad habits addressed, need a refresher, finishing, miles, or want help in the search for the right horse for you, contact Wild Things Horsemanship to start achieving your horsemanship goals.
